Hiya I'm Mia! I have a passion for exploring garment making through both modern and vintage techniques. I enjoy showing accessibility through sewing - experimenting with upcycling projects and showing how we can appreciate and reuse textiles most of us already own.

I am currently studying for my BA(hons) in Costume for Theatre and Screen at UAL. Alongside home sewing, I enjoy costume making and have been learning little crafty skills along the way. I love both at‑home sewing projects, and more large‑scale costume makes. Through Mia's Arty Farty, I am able to express my love for both of these things, along with sharing patterns, processes and walkthroughs.
